Design for high-performance for high-performance computing, 3D rendering, digital content creation and editing, the new version of VelociRaptor is now provide a larger capacity with 10,000 RPM Spin Speed, these SATA 6 Gb/s drives include a 64 MB cache to deliver the ultimate performance.
In the 2.5 inch VelociRaptor still slip into 3.5 inch drive bay with its special design IcePack enclosure, with built-in heat sink that keeps the powerful little drive extra cool when install in high-performance desktop chasis. Consume less idle power and uses similar power as the previous generation WD VelociRaptor, while offering higher capacity and performance.
With 1.4 million hours MTBF, these drives have the highest available reliability rating on high capacity SATA drive. In additional, these drives feature a 5-year limited warranty.

A positive review on the Intel Core i7-3770K processor (Ivy Bridge). With a short explanation of Intel’s schedule; the “tick-tock cadence”, the reviewer explained Intel’s strategy for their chip architecture - “Tick” signifies a totally new architecture altogether (for example, Sandy Bridge over Westmere), while “tock” means a derivative or improvement over the “tick” (which is, well, Ivy Bridge). The major change from Sandy to Ivy is the process node. Sandy Bridge uses a 32nm process node, while Ivy Bridge uses a 22nm one. The highlights from this review revealed the HD integrated graphics and a new chipset codenamed Panther Point. The following scores were awarded as a result of this review;
